Cameraman Tower Defense Guide

FAQ and game info

Quick answer

Cameraman Tower Defense is a free Roblox tower defense by Aligators Games where cameraman units hold a golden statue against toilet waves. Joining costs nothing; Robux buys coin bundles, packs and speed passes.

The questions that come up before anyone places their first unit, answered straight.

What is Cameraman Tower Defense?

A free tower defense on Roblox where you place cameraman-themed units — cameramen, speakers, TV men, spiders — to stop waves of invading toilets from reaching your golden statue. It is built in the spirit of the Skibidi-era toilet defense genre, with its own models and a summon-and-collect roster.

Who makes it?

Aligators Games, the group behind the project, with the game credited to aibat303e and iop_dev. The group has over 120,000 members. This site is an unofficial fan guide and has nothing to do with them.

Is it free?

Yes. Match play is free, and coins come from playing. Robux is optional and buys conveniences and shortcuts:

  • 3,000 coins — 159 Robux / 10,000 coins — 399 Robux
  • New Mythics Pack — 1,000 Robux
  • 2x Speed pass — 99 Robux

Is this the game people call the new Toilet Tower Defense?

It is the game the TTD crowd moved to. Same genre, same protagonist logic — units versus toilet waves — with a summon banner and crate screens that will feel immediately familiar. If you know TTD, you already know how to play this; the units page covers what is different.

How many units are there?

30 in the in-game Index, including nine added in the 10 October Spider Update. The Index has a search box and five pages, and every unit card shows its stats from base to max — see the units page for the numbers that matter.

Do codes work right now?

Yes — eight strings to try, six of them watched being redeemed in the in-game box. The full list and the exact redeem steps are on the codes page.

How do Quests and gems work?

Quests unlock at 20+ wins (the lobby menu literally says 20+ Wins Quests). Completing quests pays gems, and gems buy the Spider Crate. It is the free route to the game's rarest spiders.

Can I play solo?

Yes. Solo and duo matches are normal, plus public servers that hold up to 30 players. Solo runs lean on Engineers and one strong carry; the hard mode page is written for exactly that.

Can I trade units?

Yes — the lobby's Trading menu lets players swap units directly, and gems are tradeable as well. Big pulls like Titan Cameraman are the informal currency of the trade floor.

How often does the game update?

Fast. Launch was 26 August 2026; by 10 October it had gone through the launch build, a scientist-era economy, and the Spider Update. The update log tracks the changes as they land.

Where is the official game?

The game page is Cameraman Tower Defense on Roblox and the developer group is Aligators Games. News that matters shows up there first; we update here after it does.
