Units, rarities and real stats
The Index has 30 units. Top pulls chase big AoE: TV Spider (10,000 DPS), Upgraded Brute Prototype (9,000 DPS) and Upgraded Video Tapper Prototype (7,500 DPS), with Glitch Cameraman at 6,000 DPS on a 0.2s cooldown.
Every unit in Cameraman Tower Defense lives in the same place: the Index, the searchable unit browser in the lobby. It currently shows 30 units across five pages, and every entry carries a price, rarity and role tags like AOE, and a stat block that runs from base to fully upgraded — and the numbers swing hard.
Tap any unit in the Index and you get its full card. The one below is the number check that matters most for trading and team building: Upgraded Titan Speakerman, a Mythic AOE unit, with 2.15k Exists printed under the stats — the game publicly counts how many copies of a unit exist.
| Stat | Base | Fully upgraded |
|---|---|---|
| Damage | 250 | 2,500 |
| Cooldown | 1 | 0.5 |
| DPS | 250 | 5,000 |
| Range | 12 | 25 |
Ten times the damage, half the cooldown — upgraded boards beat crowded ones.

The summon banner, and what it actually rolls
The summon banner in the lobby is a slot machine with published odds, resetting on a ten-minute timer. The current pool:
| Pull | Odds |
|---|---|
| Cameraman | 49.9% |
| Brown Cameraman | 30% |
| Popcorn Cameraman | 15% |
| Large TV Man | 4% |
| Titan Cameraman | 1% |
| Titan Cinemaman | 0.1% |
Summons cost coins, not Robux, so the banner is the every-player route to a roster. The two Titan rows are the long chase: Titan Cameraman at 1%, and Titan Cinemaman at 0.1% — its card reads 1,000 → 1,400 damage, 2s → 0.2s cooldown, 500 → 7,000 DPS, range 13 → 30, with 2.82k copies in existence.

The October prototype trio
The Spider Update added three Mythic units to the coin summon pool, and they are all speed. Damage and cooldown pull in the same direction on these three — by max level they attack faster than anything from the old pool:
| Unit | Level-up path | Max DPS | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Glitch Cameraman | 1,000 dmg @ 0.5s at level 3 | 6,000 (0.2s) | Fast single-target, flashy VFX |
| Upgraded Video Tapper Prototype | ~1,500 dmg @ 0.2s | 7,500 | Emerald laser, quick shots |
| Upgraded Brute Prototype | 2,250 DPS at level 2 | 9,000 | 3,600 dmg @ 0.4s, AOE |
If you get one: Brute clears waves, Tapper punches bosses, Glitch is the cheapest.

Spider and Woman units
The two crates each added a unit family (drop rates on the crates page):
- Spider Crate (gems): Camera Spider, Speaker Spider and TV Spider — the 0.2% pull and, at 10,000 DPS with AOE, the highest damage number in the game.
- Woman Crate (match drops): Camera Woman, Speaker Woman and TV Woman. Speaker Woman runs AOE for ~3,500 DPS maxed with 25 range — fits any lane.
Neither crate replaces the banner: banner coins for bulk, gems for the Spider chase, matches for Woman drops.
Units worth knowing by name
| Unit | Where it comes from | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Scientist | Coin summon | Economy opener; the unlock for Engineer |
| Plunger | Coin summon | Cheap body for the standard Scientist + Plunger start |
| Engineer Cameraman | Rare drop | Super-rare: 333 existed in October. Maxed, it fights like a Titan; two take a boss toilet |
| Titan Cameraman | 1% banner pull | The trade bar. Offers in the lobby are priced in Titans |
| Upgraded Titan Speakerman | Mythic pool | AOE stat stick — see the table at the top |
| TV Spider | Spider Crate 0.2% | 10,000 DPS AOE. The flex pull |
| Speaker Woman | Woman Crate | AOE with 25 range, ~3,500 DPS maxed |
What to build around
The stat blocks push one conclusion: max level or nothing. A level 3 Glitch out-damages a field of level 1s, and upgrades are cheaper than placements. Build one carry (Brute, Tapper or a Spider), one economy unit (Scientist), one AoE body (Speaker Woman or TV Spider if you have them), and spend the rest of the match feeding that carry.
Trading fills the gaps — the Trading menu swaps units directly, and gems are tradeable too.
Numbers here come from the in-game Index, summon banner and match HUD, read in October 2026 — they move with each patch. The update log tracks changes.
